Presenter: Dr. Gioconda Guerra, Socio-cultural Specialist, Indiana University Southeast, New Neighbors project.
This presentation will explore how the perspectives of Latino immigrant students on discriminatory practices are reconfigured as they cross barriers to transition into a new educational culture (college). Based on a sociological field research, the presenter will facilitate a better understanding of this phenomenon.
