Field Experience - Clinical Field Work Overview

The Educational Professional Standards Board (EPSB) requires that all education majors who will be student teaching in any content area must complete at least 200 verified hours of appropriate field experiences prior to their student teaching semester. WKU’s School of Teacher Education, through collaboration with partnering school districts, provide a wide array of clinical field work experience opportunities for all of our professional education students. These important clinical models offer our students not only an opportunity to observe master teachers, but also allow hands-on practice for our education students prior to their student teaching.
