Textbooks For Troops™ (T4T) is one of the LARGEST programs of its kind in the NATION.

This program is for military, veterans and eligible dependent students enrolled in WKU courses who do not receive a book stipend/scholarship.  DOD High School juniors and seniors enrolled in a Dual Credit class are also eligible.  The program works and sustains itself by having qualified students check out their textbooks for an entire semester.  They must return the books to our program so that books can continue to be loaned out to other students the next semester.

Books are available if you are taking courses at any of our campuses or with WKU Online or On Demand.   If you are at a WKU regional campus, your books will be picked up and then delivered back to our T4T Representative...

WKU Bowling Green: Office of Military Student Services, Gary Ransdell Hall RM 2052.
WKU Elizabethtown/Fort Knox: Melissa Ballinger at Fort Knox's Layaou Hall (Building 65), RM 103
WKU Glasgow: Military Student Services RM 203.
WKU Owensboro: Kevin Dorth, Student Services, RM 109H
WKU Online or On Demand: your textbooks will be shipped, if needed.  If so, you are responsible for shipping them back to us at the following address:

*  Returning students must have at least a 2.5 GPA from the previous semester to qualify.  First-time students are exempt from this requirement.

*  Students must not be receiving a textbook stipend, scholarship, or other financial aid specifically for textbooks.  For example, Post 9/11 GI Bill® recipients, Voc. Rehab recipients and some ROTC scholarships award winners may not be eligible to participate.

"This program has been very helpful this semester. I would certainly use the program in the future if it is able to continue.  I would estimate that this program has saved me $300 - $400 this semester!"

R. Buchanan

"I love the Textbooks For Troops because it saved me money and took the burden of searching for them off me while I was preparing to start school."

W. Scarbeau

"It's helped me in my leadership class and I would've otherwise had to buy the book. The book was slightly used, but in great condition. It even came with the important stuff already highlighted. It was great, and you have a great program."
