Women in Business

 

Western Kentucky University Women in Business is an organization that focuses on providing professional and personal development opportunities to all students. Members of Women in Business strive to empower women to become the best version of themselves professionally and personally. The organization was founded in October 2017 and maintains around 70-80 members each year, allowing the opportunity to network and build connections.

The group is all-inclusive, and we invite all majors and minors to join in the discussion.

 

WiB MISSION STATEMENT

Our organization encourages professional development by promoting leadership, fostering relationships, and inspiring young women to reach their full potential.

WiB works toward this mission by providing students at Western Kentucky University with significant leadership opportunities and professional development. This organization is dedicated to empowering, inspiring, and improving the lives of women and to expand each member’s leadership potential.

In addition to three official club meetings per semester, WiB often co-hosts or sponsors additional events throughout the year.
