WKU Pre-Optometry Club

Who are we?

The Western Kentucky University Pre-Optometry Club is group devoted to helping students apply and get accepted into Optometry School. The Pre-Optometry club does this by giving students a chance to hear from different Optometry Schools from around the United States. The club was reestablished in 2022 to bring together students interested in Optometry. Meetings usually consist of speakers who present information to help students applying for Optometry School. Meetings can also consist of visits to local Optometry offices and other club activities.

 

Who can join?

The club is open to all students at Western Kentucky University but is particularly targeted for students who are interested in attending Optometry school.

 

When are meetings?

The Pre-Optometry Club will one to two times a month during the semester. Meetings will mainly take place on Thursdays after 6 pm in KTH 3048.

• Zoom Meeting with Ohio State Optometry: 03/06/2025 at 6:00pm (Zoom)
• Everything to know about the application process: 04/10/2025 at 6:00pm (KTH 3048)
• OAT Studying Every Thursday in the Commons (check group me for information)
