Programming Opportunities 

In order to take a proactive stance on preventing student legal issues, we began our educational program shortly after we opened in the 2015 spring semester. Not only do we offer seminars throughout the semester, but we have partnered with other groups on campus and in the community. These educational seminars offer advice and tips on landlord/tenant disputes, using a debit and credit card, and purchasing your first vehicle. We believe these seminars will help students and avoid legal pitfalls that may affect academic performance and/or retention. Please see some of the examples below of our educational programming and events in the community: 

• Spring 2015- International student seminars on American Law and contracts with ESLI and NAVITAS 
• Spring 2015- Educational presentations to freshman through University Experience classes 
• Spring 2015- Landlord and Tenant disputes and protections as a partnership with WKU's Student Coalition for Renters' Rights 
• Fall 2015- Living Will and Testament workshop with Southern Kentucky Paralegal Association 
• Fall 2023- Name Change Clinics
