ZSEIFS Ecuador Faculty Co-Leader:
Melissa Stewart, Ph.D., Modern Languages
Dr. Stewart served as the faculty co-leader of the Zuheir Sofia Endowed International Faculty Seminar for the inaugural 2014 program. She is a big supporter of study abroad and has served as the director of the Kentucky Institute for International Studies Spain II summer program in Segovia for a number of years. She has also directed the KIIS semester program on several occasions.

Dr. Coffey served as the faculty leader of the Zuheir Sofia Endowed International Faculty Seminar for the inaugural 2014 program. His experience in Ecuador included:
- 30 + years of travel and work
- lead 25 study abroad programs with over 350 students
