Scholarships
Catherine C. Ward Scholarship
DEADLINE: March 29, 2013
Scholarship recipients must meet all criteria listed below by the beginning of the semester for which the scholarship will be awarded. Former recipients are eligible.
Students must:
1. Have completed at least 30 semester hours, with an overall GPA of at least 3.0;
2. Be taking at least 12 semester hours;
3. Be a declared Women’s Studies minor and have completed at least 6 semester hours of Women’s Studies courses with a GPA of at least 3.0 in those courses;
4. Have demonstrated scholarly excellence.

Students must:
1. Have completed at least 30 semester hours with an overall grade point average of at least 2.8;
2. Be taking at least 12 semester hours;
3. Be a declared Women’s Studies minor and have completed at least 6 semester hours of Women’s Studies courses with a GPA of at least 3.0 in those courses;
4. Have a proven record of community service, activism, and advocacy regarding women’s issues, problems, and concerns.

Scholarship recipients must meet all criteria listed below by the beginning of the semester for which the scholarship will be awarded. Former recipients are eligible.
Students must:
1. Be officially enrolled in the Women’s Studies Graduate Certificate;
2. Have completed or be in the process of completing a minimum of 6 semester hours in the WS certificate, with an overall grade point average of at least 3.0, within the current academic year;
3. Have completed or be in the process of completing one of the core courses in Women’s Studies;
4. Demonstrate commitment to improving women’s lives through scholarship, service, activism and/or advocacy regarding women’s issues, problems, and concerns.
