Emma Hyman, a junior at The Gatton Academy and DuPont Manual High School, was selected to be a member of this year's cohort at the Research Science Institute, a six-week program sponsored by MIT and The Center for Excellence in Education.

Two teams from The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science at Western Kentucky University competed at the 2023 State Envirothon Competition. Gatton’s Senior Team placed first overall among 36 teams and will advance to Nationals.
