The Gatton Academy's Staff

Aubrey Falkner is the 3rd Floor South Residential Counselor. Aubrey moved to WKU in the summer of 2025 from Oklahoma City.  She earned her BS in English at Southern Nazarene University. She has held several teaching positions over the course of 9 years including 7th grade Geography, 7th and 8th grade English as a Second Language, and 8th grade English Language Arts. She is passionate about her students and helping them achieve their goals. While an RC at Gatton, she will be pursuing a Masters in Library and Information Science and hopes to become a secondary librarian to share her love of reading with her students. 

In her free time, Aubrey enjoys reading, taking long walks in cool weather with her dog Mouse, and cultivating her ever-growing indoor plant collection.
