The Gatton Academy's Staff

Jamie received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Kentucky University in 2021 and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Kentucky in 2013 and spent several years working with people as a camp professional and Registered Nurse before becoming a counselor. Jamie is one of two licensed therapists on staff at Gatton and enjoys supporting students through one-on-one therapy sessions as well as group activities. Watching students grow in their confidence, emotional awareness, and overall mental health is her favorite part of the job. Jamie lives in Bowling Green with her husband (Alex), son (Blake), dog (Charlie), and two cats (Jingle and Neil). In her free time, she enjoys yoga, pickleball, reading, and being outdoors.
