Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.
The most recent industrial partnership has come through a research agreement with
Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. We have recently collaborated on benchmarking a CFD (Computational
Fluid Dynamics) tools for product design and optimization. This paper has been accepted
and will be presented at the ASME 2019 conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. This was
all done with the oversight of a Lead Project Engineering from Stanley Black and Decker.
Our students have gotten the opportunity to lead meetings pertaining to the research
agreement. Two of our grant proposals have been accepted by Stanley Black & Decker,
Inc. and are waiting for fund allocation
