Advanced Motor Control and Power Electronics
The Center for Energy Systems is proficient with direct torque control, direct vector control, and indirect vector control. Characterization and qualification tests can be made using our dynamometer. Furthermore, research interests include renewable energy conversion, control, and integration with a smart grid; solar and wind technologies; and electric vehicles.

Predict, assess, and improve system performance under customer conditions with a model based design.
