Battle of the Bluegrass Flag Football Regional

Dates	Friday November 16th through Sunday November 18th, 2018
Location	Hattie L. Preston Intramural Sports Complex at WKU in Bowling Green, KY
Cost	$300 a team prior to November 9th
Payment	Money Orders, Certified Check, and University Checks only Payable to WKU STRIPES
Divisions	Men's, Womens, and Corec

TEAM ENTRY FORM - Each team must fill out 1 entry form

PLAYER CERTIFICATION FORM - Must have school Registrar's office validate

NIRSA WAIVER - Each participant must read and sign a waiver

NIRSA CODE OF CONDUCT - 1 form per team with each participants signature

 

One is the official Registration Form, the other is the official Waiver Form. Please download, complete, and return these forms by November 9th, 2018. Forms can be mailed to:

Official's Application- Opens September 18th - October 24th

• Three officials will be selected as All-Tournament Officials, and they will receive invitations to officiate at the NIRSA National Flag Football Championships in Pensacola, FL. 
• Tournament Officials will be provided accommodations at Staybridge in Bowling Green, KY on Friday November 16th, and Saturday November 17th.
• Tournament Officials will be provided the following meals:
  • Hot Continental Breakfast will be provided each day at the Hotel
  • Dinner Friday November 16th
  • Lunch November 17th
  • Dinner Provided at the Tournament Social November 17th
  • Lunch November 18th
• All officials will be paid an officiating stipend of $75 regardless of the number of games officiated.
• All officials will receive a WKU Intramural-Recreational Sports Logo whistle.

Winning Teams in Each Division Will Receive:

- Paid Entry into the NIRSA National Championship at the University of West Florida January 4-6, 2019

-Travel Stipend for Travel to the University of West Florida

 

Plaques Will Also Be Awarded to:

-6 Men's All-Tournament Team Players

-6 Women's All-Tournament Team Players

-6 Co-Rec All-Tournament Team Players

-Most Valuable Player in Men's & Women's Division

-Male and Female Most Valuable Player in Co-Rec Division

-Team Sportsmanship Award  

Hattie L. Preston Intramural Sports Complex Facility Rules:

• No pets allowed in the facility.

• No smoking allowed within the facility.

• No alcoholic beverages allowed within the facility.

• Do not jump any fences.

Tournament Play Rules:

All games will be played according to NIRSA Flag Football rules as outlined in the 2017 & 2018 NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Book & Officials' Manual, 17th ed.
