WKU Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Judo (BJJ/Judo) Club
If you are interested in martial arts, combat fighting, or self defense, then we have a club for you! The WKU Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Judo Club practices techniques and moves found in the martial arts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as Judo. Club members practices these skills with each other at club practices under the instructor and supervisor of the club's instructors. Some club members enjoy competing in the O.J. Helvey Kentucky State Judo Championship as well as other various tournaments in the region.
All WKU students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join the club. No experience necessary! Whether you are looking to improve your skills, compete in local and state tournaments, or simply wanting to learn the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo, you can find that here. Mondays- 7pm-9pm
Wednesdays- 6pm-8pm
Fridays- 5pm-7pm
*Practices are held in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Preston Center.
