The Bowling Green Rotary Club presented The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU with a donation as part of their Rotary Flags for Kids Program. The program raises funds for children’s charities in the Bowling Green area through a subscription program that installs flags in front of homes during holidays.
“We’re pleased to make this gift to The Center,” said Dan Cherry, Chairman of the Rotary Flags for Kids program.
The donation makes it possible for three children to attend Camp Innovate and three children to attend Camp Explore free of charge this summer.
“I so appreciate support from the Bowling Green Rotary Club. This gift will make it possible for children to participate in programming, ones who need financial assistance to do so” said Dr. Julia Link Roberts, Executive Director of The Center for Gifted Studies.
