Online Graduate Study in History

The History M.A. program can be completed entirely online. We routinely offer 4 online asynchronous seminars each Fall and Spring semester and 1 online summer course. The small class sizes allow for close interaction with faculty and fellow students. Owing to the digitization of historical archives around the world in recent years, online students are eligible for both the Thesis and Non-Thesis tracks. There is no foreign language requirement for students, either on-campus or online, unless the archives being utilized for the thesis are not in English.
