The Lewis Lens
Official staff photographer for WKU and all satellite campuses, Clinton Lewis has spent fifteen years as a hidden gem of our campus and community. This exhibition highlights Clinton's work in editorial photojournalism, advertising and commercial photography, outdoor adventure, fine art landscape photography, and graphic design.
Hi, I'm Clinton
I have been the University Photographer at WKU since 2008. I graduated from WKU with a bachelor's in Photojournalism and a Master's in Organizational Communication, so storytelling and photography have been a part of my life for a long time. I'm grounded in the documentary approach to photography, as I hope you will notice. Very few of my photographs are staged or directed. I prefer to show the world as it is, not as I direct it to be for my camera.
I hope you also notice my sense of adventure, both literally and figuratively. Whether on the side of a mountain, running on a new trail, or looking for a unique vantage point to show campus, I am always exploring the world around me. Never Stop Exploring may be the tagline for The North Face, but I apply it to my everyday life as well. To see the world with new eyes each day is the greatest gift and challenge I face. And I love it.
