Basketry Now: 10th Anniversary Exhibition
July 17 – November 26, 2019
This exhibit will be held in conjunction with the National Basketry Organization 2019 Biennial Conference. The NBO biennial exhibitions have become an important record of artistic work within traditional and contemporary basketry. They are unique in their focus on basketry and in their inclusion of the full range of work being executed by well-known and emerging artists. NBO encourages both established and emerging artists to submit work for consideration for this prestigious exhibition.
Heather Sealy Lineberry – NBO is pleased to welcome Heather Sealy Lineberry as the juror for Basketry Now. Lineberry is Senior Curator at the Arizona State University Art Museum and has 25 years of experience curating contemporary art exhibitions with an emphasis on hybrid art forms and collaborations across disciplines.
