The Kentucky Museum is seeking scholarship sponsors for the 2024 Abound Credit Union Celebration of the Arts show. Opening on March 2, 2024, the exhibition provides regional artists with the chance to showcase and receive recognition for artistic excellence.
Last year, the Kentucky Museum created scholarships to provide students at Western Kentucky University (WKU) and South-Central Kentucky Technical and Community College (SKYCTC) with the opportunity to enter their works at no cost. The initiative was a success, providing 47 scholarships that ensured students – who are often on limited incomes – can participate in this key professional development opportunity.
Scholarships are sponsored by individuals throughout South Central Kentucky, recognized at the awards ceremony and in print and digital marketing. Each scholarship is $20.
To become a sponsor, make a secure online gift of $20 or more at http://alumni.wku.edu/celebrationofthearts
All proceeds from the Celebration of the Arts show support the Kentucky Museum’s art exhibitions and programs.
