Challenge Course - The WKU Challenge Course provides a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the WKU campus and surrounding community by delivering experiences that provide a sense of accomplishment and develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for individuals and groups.

E.A. Diddle Arena - Diddle Arena was built in 1963 and named after longtime WKU's men's coach and Basketball Hall of Famer Edgar Diddle. Since it's dedication on December 7th, 1963, Diddle Arena has hosted some of the finest players and teams ever to play in college ranks. The $32 million renovation in 2004 reduced the seating capacity to 8,000. The renovation also included: 16 luxury suites, all-new seating, new concession and restroom areas, new playing floor, elevator access to all levels, new lighting and sound systems, two new auxiliary gyms, new training and weight rooms, and new locker and office space complex facilities.

Diddle Arena is also known as the Academic-Athletic Building #1. It houses classrooms and offices for Recreation Administration faculty in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport, as well as the Military Science department.

L.T. Smith Stadium - The stadium was dedicated on October 26, 1968. The stadium had a seating capacity of 19,250. It was equipped with 26 faculty offices, 11 physical education classrooms, lockers and shower rooms. A press box also accommodated 80 writers and broadcasters. A track encircles the playing field. Towards the south was a lighted field for varsity football practice, lighted tennis courts, and a new baseball field. In December of 1969, the stadium was cited for excellence in architectural design by the Kentucky Society of Architects of the American Institute of Architects. ["WKU Stadium Cited by Architects, Dec. 7, 1969"].  The stadium is currently the home of the School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport director and all support staff.

McChesney Field Campus - Faculty and students in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport have taken the lead in developing concepts, plans and uses for the McChesney Field Campus. But the facility will provide a unique outdoor experiential learning environment that will be utilized by numerous academic disciplines throughout the WKU campus community, including recreation administration, outdoor leadership, physical education, public health, cave and karst study, geology, geography, biology, chemistry, teacher education, environmental science, agriculture, horticulture, environmental health, construction, engineering, history, public relations, marketing, advertising, graphic design, sustainability and more.
