2018-2019 International Year of Cuba in Review

As the 2018-2019 International Year of Cuba concludes, the Office of International Programs reflects on a remarkable year of over 30 events and 45 courses that enabled WKU and the surrounding community to explore Cuba’s history and culture. Through lectures, visiting scholars, art exhibitions, concerts and more, this interdisciplinary study of Cuba enabled students, faculty, staff and community members to consider Cuba’s relevance to their field of study and discover meaningful connections between Cuba and the U.S.
