WKU Modern Languages Department Calendar

Please join WKU's Korean Pop Culture Club (KPC), Asian American Student Association (AASA), and Chinese Club as they kick off Lunar New Year activities and celebrations on Tuesday, February 1 from 9 am - 3 pm! The three organizations will set up tables  to introduce their clubs/missions to students, faculty and staff. Red envelopes with holiday candies and random gifts will be passed around to celebrate the first day of lunar year of tiger.

• Impact:  An estimated 1,500-1,800 students, faculty, staff and partners will be reached directly and indirectly (via social media). 

• 250 students enrolled in CHIN and CHNF courses and 19 faculty/staff/tutors 
• 600-900 students enrolled in Asian professors classes (40+ Asian professors)
• 12 partner Chinese teachers (5 in TN, 1 in Cincinnati OH, 1 in Louisville, 5 in Lexington) and their high-school students (over 1,000 students)
