Scott Pruitt earned her PhD in sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019. She has worked extensively in applied settings, managing social service policy analysis in the Bay Area, leading U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development evaluation and analytics work, and partnering with the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research to evaluate and improve diversity, equity, and inclusion programs across the geosciences. Her research focuses on improving social and community development programs and policy.
