Voter Registration
Enshrined in the WKU Student Government Association’s Constitution is our commitment
to all Hilltoppers to “promote student well-being and involvement.” In no instance
is this more appropriate than in the realm of civic participation.
The WKU Student Government Association takes pride in our members who are civically
and politically active, and we strive to encourage as many students to register to
vote in Kentucky as possible. However, as an organization, we neither encourage students
to vote a certain way nor do we favor one political party over another. Instead, we
are a forum for all students to voice their opinions concerning university governance,
WKU life in general, and community, state, and nationwide issues pertinent to us as
students.
But while we are nonpartisan as an organization, it is our commitment to the student
body to cultivate an environment that takes pride in our constitutional right to vote,
where we as students and members of a new generation of Americans have the power to
voice our opinions to determine the course of our community, state, and nation.
We sincerely hope you will take advantage of this right and let your voice be heard.
On this page, we hope you will find a few resources available for nonpartisan voter
registration.
