Services are provided to students in first through twelfth grades. Students should have some basic beginning reading skills and one or more areas of need.
Fall Semester: Fall semester services generally begin mid to late September, are ninety minutes in length, meet once a week, and include approximately ten sessions throughout the semester. Children meet one-on-one with a graduate student clinician for literacy diagnostic evaluation with some intervention.
Spring Semester: Spring semester sessions meet for ninety minutes weekly for approximately ten weeks. The focus of the spring semester is intervention based on diagnostic evaluations from the fall. The clinic’s ability to provide spring semester services is dependent upon graduate student clinician availability.
