Join student panelists as they discuss what they wish they had known before studying abroad. They'll share stories and their creative solutions to some perplexing situations. Don't miss this opportunity to pick up some helpful tips for YOUR study abroad program or future international travels. This is a swipable event, and refreshments will be served.

The English Department will host the Potter College Faculty-Led Study Abroad Fair in Cherry Hall featuring WKU programs in Argentina, Cuba, the Czech Republic, England, Italy, Morocco, and South Africa and general programs with KIIS and CCSA. Learn about how you can make studying abroad a reality while sampling African, Caribbean, European, and South American ethnic food and listening to traditional music from the featured countries. This fair is open to all majors.

Traverse the globe simply by walking around campus--no passport required! From 4-6 pm on November 18th, seven residence halls on WKU's campus will transform into seven countries, and you're cordially invited to tour them all. Begin your journey at any featured hall. Each lobby will feature cultures, traditions, activities, and cuisines from their adopted country. Learn to speak Portuguese phrases in Brazil, listen to live traditional Irish music in Ireland, and sample braai (barbecue) in South Africa!

WKU Diplomat-in-Residence and retired Minister-Counselor of the U.S. Foreign Service Michael McClellan will be presenting a career exploration opportunity from 6:00-7:00pm, DSU 2001 on careers within the U.S. Department of State.

Hear more about the KIIS Tanzania Summer Study Abroad program and opportunities to study Health are Administration, Nursing, Public Health and Swahili; plus you can engage in Service Learning and Internships.  Tanzanian artwork will be on display in HCIC 2016 and the program leader Dr. Mkanta will be there to answer your questions. Students can also sample traditional spiced rice and flatbread (chapati! You definitely won’t want to miss out.
