WKU offers psychology-related programs in two different departments: The Department of Psychology in the College of Education and Behavioral Science and The Department of Psychological Sciences in the Ogden College of Science and Engineering.
The Department of Psychology offers versatile, applied programs that prepare you for fields such as Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Sport Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, and other behavioral and mental health fields.

The Department of Psychological Sciences trains students to understand human thought and behavior, mental health, lifespan development, social forces within individuals and groups, the neuroscience behind psychological processes, and the measurement of human performance in the workplace and laboratory.
