May 12, 2011–A special thanks to Dollar General for their continued support of WKLT, raising their sponsorship to $10,000!

February 1, 2011–Planning has begun for the 2011 WKLT Summer Camp! The first kids’ camp meeting will be Friday, February 5 at 11:00 a.m. For more information, please contact Sam (kids’ camp) or Leigh (women’s camp) through our “Staff” link, above.
November 8, 2010–We are happy to announce and welcome Leigh Gaskin and Samantha Burnett to the Women’s Studies camp staff. This is their first year with the camp. Contact either of them through our “Staff” link, above.

April 16, 2010 – Lil Angels Attic made a generous contribution to our WKLT summer camp. Thank you Lil Angels Attic!
February 17, 2010 – Dr. Branham (i.e., WKLT camp director) and Nick Simmons (i.e., WKLT camp coordinator) served as panelist at the first annual Kentucky College Access Network. During this time Dr. Branham and Nick provided an overview of the camp and discussed how previous grant funds received from KYCAN! were used to help execute the camp.
February 4, 2010 – The first WKLT committee meeting was conducted in the conference room in the Women’s Studies Center. The meeting was fruitfully productive and helped to ensure that this year’s camp will be memorable for everyone involved.
February 2, 2010 – Gail Martin made a generous contribution to the Women and Kids Learning Together Camp. The contribution is highly appreciated and will further enable the staff of the camp to facilitate an excellent experience for the women and kids. Thank you Gail Martin!

March 16, 2009–Planning has begun for the 2009 WKLT Summer Camp!
