Academic Planning & Effectiveness
The Academic Planning and Effectiveness group provides oversight of institutional effectiveness standards and proccesses for units within the Division of Academic Affairs, coordinates data-driven analyses of academic operations and outcomes, implements revisions of academic policies and programs approved through the curricular process, and supports data-driven decision-making by the Provost, deans, and departments.
We work with Academic Affairs departments and colleges to quantify and advance measures of academic success, including student engagement, student learning, retention, persistence and graduation rates. In addition, we provide research and analytic support to units within the Division aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, academic quality, and student success. To that end, we work collaboratively with the Academic Advising and Retention Center and other units within the Division of Enrollment and Student Experience.
