Dear Colleagues,   

I have been heartened to see that since Fall 2022 more than 100 instructors have started to make the switch from Blackboard Original to Blackboard Ultra. This healthy tempo demonstrates that faculty will be ready for WKU's full migration to Blackboard Ultra in Winter 2024/Spring 2025. Students' experiences with Blackboard Ultra have been positive overall and I am grateful that faculty have embraced the new student-friendly course view.   

As the Spring 2025 migration deadline approaches, continued timely adoption will allow for a smoother transition for instructors and students alike. As you plan for Summer and Fall 2023 courses, I recommend that you reflect on how you will migrate your courses in a way that balances your workload with the necessity of transitioning to Blackboard Ultra.

• Monday, February 13 @ 1:00 pm – Register here

• Tuesday, April 11 @ 1:00 pm – Register here
