Dear Colleagues, 

We are excited to extend a special invitation to all WKU faculty and staff to attend a series of master classes hosted by accomplished WKU first-generation alumni from each of the academic colleges. You can read more about each of them here. On Tuesday, November 7, from 3:45 - 5PM each college will host their own master class, which will highlight unique perspectives and experiences of our successful first-generation graduates.

Please encourage our students - and especially our first-generation students - to attend. The insights our outstanding first-generation alumni share will prove invaluable to the personal and professional development of our students. 

Your and your students' presence will both honor the achievements of our first-generation alumni and help inspire our student community. The details for each master class are below and attached. 

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at the master classes on Tuesday and creating opportunities on Wednesday, November 8, to raise visibility for our First-Generation Initiative during National First-Generation Day.
