Career Climb is a day-long event dedicated to helping freshmen and sophomore students learn more about the careers available in the business world as well as how present your best professional self.
Workshops on social media, interviewing, branding yourself, professional dress, networking, etc. will occur for the first part of the day with a networking event taking place at the end of the day.Workshops are held during the same time the MWF classes typically meet so you don't have to miss a few minutes here and a few minutes there. You also do not have to attend all the workshops. Attend the ones YOU like and fit your schedule.
Refreshments will be provided during the networking event where 30+ business professionals will be on hand to talk with students one-on-one about their career paths. This is NOT a career fair or an opportunity to gain employment. This is a meet-and-greet, ask lots of questions time!
The Gordon Ford College of Business is a top business school with dual AACSB accreditation in both business and accounting programs.
