Living Learning Community
The Business Living Learning Communities are specifically designed for first-year students to receive enhanced learning resources and support toward a successful academic and eventual business career.
A Unique Opportunity
The Business Living Learning Communities provide a unique opportunity for first-year students to connect with like-minded students in both the classroom as well as in the residence hall. Students will take some classes together and live near each other to better facilitate study groups and other extracurricular activities.
Support for Students
Mentoring comes from professors and an advanced LLC Resident Assistant who are specially trained to guide students toward engagement in university life and connections with academic support and counseling programs. RAs help students network with fellow students and provide group tutoring sessions.
Planned Activities & Classes
M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan, the orientation program for incoming residential students, is designed to help first-year students to better acclimate themselves to the campus community and begin building social and academic networks.
During the fall semester, students will enroll in BA 175, the Business University Experience course, and FIN 161, Personal Finance. During the spring semester, students will enroll in ECON 202.
