Students can take a one-day hike to get an in-depth visit to Gaylord Enterprises, home to Gaylord Entertainment and the Opryland Hotel. The visit will include presentations from business professionals who work with the various disciplines -- from accounting to economics to finance to marketing to management to human resources. WKU alums who work at Gaylord will be on hand to host WKU students and allow them to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at a day in the life of a multi-national organization.

Topper Tank, WKU's version of "Shark Tank" gives students the opportunity to pitch their business idea in front of a panel of judges. Topper Tank Elevator Pitch Competition will take place on October 25 at 4 p.m. in Grise Hall 240. The deadline for students to submit their ideas via email is October 18. Cash prizes will be awarded to the most promising ideas.
