Human Resource Management Program Receives SHRM Recertification

Gordon Ford College of Business and the Department of Management has renewed its alignment with the Human Resource Management program under the guidelines required by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates.
Globally, more than 500 programs across 557 educational institutions have been acknowledged by SHRM as being in alignment with its suggested guides and templates. The guidelines define the HR content areas that HR students should study at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Created in 2006 and revalidated in 2010, 2013, 2017, and 2022 –the guidelines are part of SHRM's Academic Initiative to define HR education standards taught in business schools and help universities develop degree programs that follow these standards.
