Kroger Co. Chairman David Dillon to Speak in April

David Dillon, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Kroger Co., will speak on Thursday, April 10 as part of the annual Hays Watkins Visiting CEO Lecture Series.
Mr. Dillon will provide a lecture on the topic, “Is Anyone Following You?” a discussion on leadership, in Grise Hall Auditorium beginning at 2 p.m.
He has served in a variety of leadership roles after joining the Dillons Company in 1976 before being named to executive vice president of Kroger in 1990. In In 2003, Dillon was named CEO of Kroger and elected to Chairman of the Board in 2004. He retired as CEO in 2013 and will remain Chairman through the end of 2014.
Mr. Dillon earned his bachelor’s degree in Business at the University of Kansas and a law degree from Southern Methodist University.
