WKU Alum Carl Whitmer Featured Speaker in GFCB

Carl Whitmer, Chief Executive Officer of IASIS Healthcare in Nashville, will speak on Thursday, April 21, 2:30 p.m. in Grise Hall Auditorium as part of the annual Hays Watkins Visiting CEO Speaker Series.
Mr. Whitmer will provide a discussion of the topic,” Leading the way in an evolving healthcare environment… the mission informs what matters” to students, faculty, staff, and community members.
As CEO of IASIS Healthcare since 2010, Mr. Whitmer provides the strategic vision, leadership, and oversight that enables the company to further its mission to provide high-quality, cost-effective healthcare services to the communities they serve.
Whitmer, a 1986 WKU Accounting graduate, previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for IASIS. Prior to joining IASIS, Whitmer held the CFO, Vice President of Finance, and Treasurer positions at a physician practice and IPA management company and the senior manger role at KPMG LLP.
