Ward, a student-athlete with the WKU Football team, is a student in the Accounting JUMP program, where he will earn both his undergraduate and his master’s degrees in May 2017. He also will start his accounting career with KPMG in the fall of 2017.
He earned All-Academic honors for Conference USA in 2015 and was selected to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll and holds a 3.5 grade point average in his accounting graduate studies.
“Marcus is one of those few students a professor sees who operates effortlessly in parallel world of academia and athletics,” said Dr. Harold Little, Accounting Department chair. “I expect great things from Marcus.”
