Topper Tank Awards Cash to Student Business Ideas
- Wednesday, October 5th, 2016
The Topper Tank Elevator Pitch Competition will take place on October 25 at 4 p.m. in Grise Hall 240. The deadline for students to submit their ideas via email is October 18.
The Topper Tank allows students with a business idea or an invention to present a 90-second pitch to a group of business professionals, akin to the popular ABC TV show “Shark Tank.” Winning ideas will be awarded cash prizes and the opportunity to discuss their idea with the judges.
“The Center enjoys providing opportunities for students to meet with business professionals to receive valuable feedback that will help them further their business ideas,” said Dr. Dawn Bolton, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, sponsor of the Topper Tank.
Only students who submit ideas via email to entrepreneurship@wku.edu by October 18 will be eligible to participate in the Topper Tank competition. Interested students should look for the email submission form at wku.edu/cei. Topper Tank has awarded more than $2,500 during the past two years to students to advance their ideas.
The Gordon Ford College of Business is a top business school with dual AACSB accreditation in both business and accounting programs.
