Vic Richey to Discuss Leadership in Upcoming Lecture

Vic Richey, Chairman, CEO, and President of ESCO Technologies, Inc., a St. Louis-based technology company with subsidiaries operating throughout the United States and around the world, will deliver a lecture entitled, “Everything I Learned about Leadership I Learned in the Army” on Friday, March 31 at 10 a.m. in Grise Hall Auditorium on WKU’s main campus.
Richey has served with ESCO since 1985, holding a variety of positions with the company. In 2001, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2002, he assumed his current position. Prior to joining the company, Richey spent six years as a military intelligence officer in the U.S. Army. He received his undergraduate degree from WKU and his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Richey is coming to campus as the 2017 Hays Watkins Visiting CEO, an annual lecture series featuring prominent business leaders who address leadership, ethics, and best business practices. The Hays Watkins Visiting CEO Speaker Series is made possible through a generous donation from Bowling Green Business University alum Hays Watkins, who is chairman emeritus of CSX Corporation in Richmond, Virginia.
