Guillaume Auditorium Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday
- Monday, October 9th, 2017
The Gordon Ford College of Business will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, October 14 at 1 p.m. to officially dedicate the Rick and Ann Guillaume Auditorium inside Grise Hall on the main campus of WKU.
Rick and Ann Guillaume, 1965 graduates of WKU’s Gordon Ford College of Business, donated more than $200,000 for the complete renovation of the auditorium. Cushioned chairs replace the wooden ones. A warm paint scheme covers the stark white walls. Carpeted aisleways improve the acoustics of the room. The stage at the front of the room was leveled to better accommodate those with mobility issues. The audio and video quality of the auditorium is vastly improved with updates to the technology.
The auditorium seats 440 and is used for classes, lectures, and organization meetings.
“As a student-centered, applied College of Business, we constantly strive to make improvements to classroom learning,” said Dr. Jeff Katz, Dean of the Gordon Ford College of Business. “We are thankful to the Guillaumes for their generosity that made these renovations possible.”
The public is invited to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, which is part of Homecoming activities occurring in Grise Hall.
The Gordon Ford College of Business is a top business school with dual AACSB accreditation in both business and accounting programs.
