A Message from the Dean

Chris Shook

Welcome to the Gordon Ford College of Business!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about us. Our mission is to actively support and engage students, faculty, staff and the community in academic and lifelong professional development, providing the foundation needed to lead in today’s diverse business environments.   We aspire to be the school of choice in the region for applied business education and a leader of business thought and engagement.

Our faculty and staff are here to support you in any way we can. We offer resources and engagement opportunities to enhance your WKU experience and prepare you now and for life beyond the Hill. The College employs a dedicated career coach, an internship coordinator, peer tutors for nearly every core class, and a professional academic advising team -- they are all available to help you make the most of your time here. There is no question that should go unasked. Let us know how we can help you.

I want to personally assure you that you belong here in the GFCB. Regardless of your race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or anything else that might divide our society -- you are here to learn and that is the only thing that matters.

Keep up with the GFCB on social media and on this website and you'll never miss a popular guest speaker or a seminar designed to enhance your professionalism. Remember, you hold great potential to shape the world but you need to stay connected and take advantage of all the opportunities available to you.

Great opportunities await you and the Gordon Ford College of Business hopes to be a part of your great opportunity. Please take a tour of our facilities, meet our current students, sit in on a class, and see what awaits you here!

Best regards,

Chris Shook
