WKU On Demand
Students may enroll in WKU On Demand courses that can be taken via web.
The WKU On Demand Agreement is a contract between the Department of Student Financial Assistance, the enrolled WKU student, and the WKU On Demand Office. This agreement determines if a student is eligible to utilize financial aid to cover the cost of his/her WKU On Demand courses.
The priority deadline for submitting the On Demand Agreement is two weeks prior to the Pell Recalculation Date (PRD). The PRD occurs approximately one week after classes at WKU begin each semester. Please see the announcements section of our website for this date. While requests can be submitted, we cannot guarantee those submitted after two weeks prior to the PRD will be processed in time to allow for additional Pell Grant for those students with Pell eligibility.

WKU On Demand courses may be covered by financial aid if the student has met basic eligibility requirements*, has a current FAFSA on file, has completed requests for any/all additional requirements (tax information, verification, probation counseling, etc.), and has completed an online WKU On Demand Agreement with the Department of Student Financial Assistance.
*Remember: Students must be enrolled in good standing in a degree-seeking program in order to be eligible for financial aid. In addition, students must be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible to apply for federal student loans.
Students who complete a WKU On Demand Agreement with the Department of Student Financial Assistance should complete the On Demand course(s) within the semester for which financial aid is awarded. Students who receive federal financial aid to cover the cost of their On Demand courses should complete the course within the semester time frame. This is because students who sign the agreement and fail to complete their On Demand courses within their semester may be placed on financial aid probation or possibly risk losing their financial aid eligibility.
Fill out the WKU On Demand Agreement located on TopNet. Once you log in to TopNet using your Net ID and password, choose Financial Aid and then WKU On Demand/Financial Aid Request for Registration.
Please allow up to 14 business days for your application to be reviewed. You will receive an email from the WKU Department of Student Financial Assistance about the outcome of your application.

Students who are enrolled in 12 credit hours of regular university courses typically have already been awarded the maximum amount in federal financial aid. However, there still may be alternative financial aid options available such as the Parent PLUS Loan and private loans.
Students who are considering changing/switching On Demand courses should consult the WKU On Demand Office.
Remember, students who drop On Demand courses after the 100% drop/add date may be subject to reduction of financial aid, reduced tuition refund, and may risk losing their financial aid eligibility.
Students whose financial aid has processed and they have received a residual check must pay for their On Demand course at the time they enroll. If they need the On Demand course to keep their total financial aid hours at a certain level (half-time, full-time, etc.), they need to submit the WKU On Demand Agreement.
