2. Get trusted, unbiased, one-on-one counseling and assistance through your State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIPs). SHIP Counselors help people with Medicare and their families make informed healthcare decisions.

3. You’ll sign up for Medicare Part A and Part B through Social Security.
