Take a Child to Work Day
WKU Human Resources is proud to host Take a Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 24th! All WKU Employees with either children or grandchildren currently enrolled in grades 2 -12 are invited to participate in this free event! High School students will follow a separate program aimed to help them become college ready.
Take a Child to Work Day is part of a national event that is designed to be more than just a career day. “Take a Child to Work Day and Beyond exists to bridge the gap between education and the workplace, providing young people with invaluable, hands-on experiences that help them envision their futures in meaningful ways. It’s about empowering a generation to take bold steps toward their dreams and fostering the confidence and resilience they need to succeed.”
