Cluster Facilitators
M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan Cluster Facilitators deliver engaging and vital content (provided) to groups of approximately 25-30 M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan participants. Sessions include topics that may not come up in regular classes, like personal goal setting, how to meet new people and make friends in college, how to get involved in campus life, and how to utilize campus resources (Financial Aid, Blackboard, bus routes, Topnet. etc.).

Assistant Professor, Organizational Leadership
Being a cluster facilitator for M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan has always been a rewarding experience. For the past three years, I've been able to meet the students in my Living Learning Community and start building relationships with them before our class even meets. I cannot emphasize how much that has made a difference for both me as an LLC Fellow and our LLC participants!
Assistant Director of Student Activities- Leadership & Volunteerism
Serving as a M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan Cluster facilitator is an opportunity to influence Hilltoppers as soon as they arrive to WKU. As a Cluster Facilitator, you have a unique experience of offering advice to our incoming students and sharing all the things “you wished students would know before classes begin.” I have loved my experiences as a Cluster facilitator and recommend it to any faculty or staff on the hill.
Staff Counselor, Counseling Center
Being a M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan facilitator is my favorite way to start the year. Seeing the incoming freshmen excited about college and about beginning a new life on the Hill rejuvenates my purpose and mission. HRL does a fantastic job preparing the facilitators, so I feel confident in my ability to lead. Plus, the perks (my favorite being Fresh passes) make me feel appreciated, too. I can't wait for my 5th year this fall!
Mahurin Honors College
Acting as a M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan facilitator is one of my favorite ways to start the new academic year! I feel like I can connect with scholars and set a collaborative tone before classes start. Highly recommend!
Director, Kelly M. Burch Institute for Practices in Higher Education
I've always loved this University and this campus. What could be better than helping incoming freshmen see in WKU what I see? Building relationships with students during M.A.S.T.E.R. plan and helping them navigate a potentially stressful transition to college is not only helpful for them but has always been fun for me.
