Southern Kentucky Choral Society is open by audition to university students of all majors, faculty, staff, and community members with an interest in choral masterworks with orchestra. Please see the auditions page for more specific audition information. The SOKY Choral Society is a member of Chorus America, the national organization which serves the needs of community choruses. In addition to its own concerts, this ensemble collaborates with The Symphony at WKU each year.
Recent performances include: the Requiem settings of Brahms, Mozart, Faure; Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna; Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem; Haydn's Missa Cellensis and Paukenmesse; Handel's Messiah; Orff's Carmina Burana and Poulenc Gloria to name a few!
