Middle School Honors Band Clinic
We are thrilled to announce the return of the WKU Middle School Honors Band in the Spring of 2023! This one-day clinic will feature your outstanding 7th and 8th grade woodwind, brass, and percussion students, and of course, their outstanding directors!
The clinic begins with band seating at 8:30a on Monday, March 6, 2023. Rehearsals will begin promptly at 9:00a. Selected students will interact with outstanding clinicians as well as the faculty and staff of Western Kentucky University throughout the clinic. There will also be activities for participating directors. The clinic will conclude with a FREE public concert at 5:30p in historic Van Meter Hall.

Conductor of the 8th Grade Honors Band
Mrs. Smith is the Director of Middle School Bands at Owensboro County Middle School, Owensboro, KY.
Conductor of the 7th Grade Honors Band
Mr. Phillips was the Director of Bands (retired) at the Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, TN.
