Biography

Beth Pope currently teaches voice at Western Kentucky University. She has taught every age level of music in public and private schools and has served on the music faculties of Loyola University, New Orleans, Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University. She has distinguished herself in concert and recital appearances and is a former winner in the Graduate Division of Arkansas National Association of Teachers of Singing. A native of Princeton, Kentucky, Beth received her Bachelor of Music Degree from Murray State University where she studied voice with Dr. Carl Rogers and Ms. Kay Bates. She earned her master's degree at Henderson State University where she studied with Dr. Lydia Evanson and pursued further study with Ms. Dorothy Sawatsky at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She resides in Bowling Green with her husband Wayne, and son, Will.
